Getting Started

Who made Idle Adventure?
Idle Adventure is an indie game developed primarily by Zymosis (Discord), with several community members contributing art and game design along the way. Art contributions and creative ideas from players are always highly appreciated and help shape the game!
What is Idle Adventure?
Idle Adventure is a pixel RPG idle game featuring automatic combat, companions, guild systems, skill trees, and special areas. Progress through zones, defeat bosses, unlock companions, and join guilds to participate in cooperative boss raids.
How do I start playing?
Download Idle Adventure from the Google Play Store. The game features automatic combat, so your character will fight enemies automatically. Focus on managing your equipment, skills, and companions to progress further.
Is Idle Adventure available on the Apple App Store?
No, Idle Adventure is not currently available on the Apple App Store, but I plan to make it available in the future. Until then, if you have a PC or Mac, you can play using the Bluestacks Android emulator.
Is Idle Adventure free to play?
Yes! Idle Adventure is free to play with optional in-app purchases.
What should I focus on as a beginner?
Start by:
  • Upgrading your equipment regularly
  • Unlocking and leveling your first companion
  • Learning the combat mechanics and skill system
  • Joining a guild as soon as possible (requires 500 Voxels + 500 Gems to create, or join an open guild for free)
  • Completing special areas for unique rewards

Guilds

How do I join or create a guild?
To create a guild: You need 500 Voxels + 500 Gems. Choose a unique name, tag, and privacy setting (Open or Closed).

To join a guild: Search for open guilds and click "Join" for instant access. Closed guilds cannot currently be joined.

What are guild bosses?
Guild bosses are time-limited cooperative challenges where all guild members attack the same boss with a shared HP pool. Each player uses tickets for 2-minute individual runs. Rewards are based on the guild's total performance, not individual contributions. See the Guild Boss section.
What's the difference between Valor and Sigils?
Valor Points: Personal currency earned from Guild Boss participation. Used to purchase guild buffs and unlock skills.

Sigils: Guild currency earned from boss damage. Currently tracked but cannot be spent yet (future feature).
How many members can a guild have?
Guilds can have a maximum of 5 members.
Can I leave my guild?
Yes, regular members can leave at any time. However, guild leaders cannot leave without first transferring ownership to another member.

Companions & Pets

What are companions?
Companions (also called pets) fight alongside you in combat. Each companion has unique abilities, stats, and can be leveled up. They provide significant damage and utility. See the companions guide.
How do I unlock companions?
Companions can be unlocked through:
  • Valor Shop (using Valor Points from Guild Bosses)
  • Special area rewards
  • Progression milestones
  • Game events
How many companions can I have active?
You can have multiple companions unlocked, but check your active companion slots in-game. Companions level up through combat experience and can be upgraded for better stats.

Progression & Leveling

What are ascensions?
Ascensions are the prestige system in Idle Adventure. You reset your progress in exchange for permanent bonuses that make future runs faster and stronger. See the Ascension guide.
When should I ascend?
Ascend when your progression slows significantly and you've earned enough ascension currency to make meaningful permanent upgrades. See the ascension guide for details.
What are talents?
Talents are character specializations that you unlock with Talent Points. They provide passive bonuses and allow you to customize your playstyle. See the talents guide.
How do skills work?
Skills are active abilities with cooldowns that you can use in combat. Unlock new skills through progression and the Valor Shop. Each skill has unique effects and strategic uses. See the Skills guide.

Equipment & Upgrades

How do I upgrade equipment?
Equipment can be improved through:
  • Upgrading: Enhance base stats using materials (guide)
  • Enchanting: Add magical bonuses to gear (guide)
  • Alteration: Reroll stats for better properties (guide)
What's the difference between upgrading, enchanting, and alteration?
Upgrading: Increases the base stats of equipment (Attack and Armor).
Enchanting: Adds bonus effects and stat multipliers to equipment.
Alteration: Rerolls existing stats to try for better values or different properties.
What are consumables?
Consumables are temporary items like potions and food that provide buffs. They can boost your stats, healing, or provide special effects for limited durations. See the consumables guide.

What are special areas?

Combat & Mechanics

How does combat work?
Combat in Idle Adventure is automatic. Your character and companions fight enemies automatically based on their stats, skills, and AI. You can improve performance by managing equipment, skills, and formations. See the combat guide for detailed mechanics.
What are debuffs?
Debuffs are negative status effects that enemies can inflict on you, or you can inflict on enemies. They include effects like poison, slow, stun, and more. Learn about all debuffs in the debuff guide.
How do I deal more damage?
Increase damage through:
  • Upgrading and enchanting weapons
  • Leveling up and allocating stats
  • Unlocking damage-focused talents
  • Using attack skills effectively
  • Activating guild buffs (Attack Bonus)
  • Equipping high-damage companions

How do I save my progress?
Your progress is automatically saved to your account. Make sure you're logged in to preserve your progress across devices.
Can I play on multiple devices?
Yes, as long as you're logged into the same account, your progress will sync across devices.
