What is Enchanting?
Enchanting allows you to add powerful stat bonuses to your equipment using Pixels and Crystals. On each item type you have 2 unique enchantments to pick from - choose wisely. This equipment enhancement system provides guaranteed magical bonuses with 100% success rate.
How Enchanting Works
There are three enchanting actions you can perform:
- New Enchant: Add an enchantment to an item for the first time (level 0 → level 1)
- Upgrade Enchant: Increase an existing enchantment by one level (level 1 → level 2)
- Change Enchant: Replace an existing enchantment with a different one (Cheaper and keeps the same level!)
Crystals
Crystals can be obtained by defeating enemies, but the fastest way to farm crystals is in the mine! Crystal farming in mining areas provides the most efficient resource gathering for enchanting.
Enchantment Types
Enchantments are restricted by equipment type. Each item slot has access to exactly two specific enchantments - you cannot apply any other enchantment types to that item. This ensures each equipment piece has unique enhancement options.
For example: Weapons can ONLY have Deadly Strike or Piercing. You cannot add Life Steal or any other enchantment to a weapon. This slot-specific enchanting system creates strategic choices for gear optimization.
| Item Type | Enchantment 1 | Bonus (per level) | Enchantment 2 | Bonus (per level) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Weapon | Deadly Strike | 2.5% chance for 1.5x damage | Piercing | 17.5% armor ignore chance |
| Armor | Endurance | +3% resist | Blocking | 15% chance to block 33% damage |
| Helm | Life Steal | +2% life steal | Consume Souls | +7.5 mana on kill |
| Legs | Mana Absorb | 6% chance to gain 20 mana when struck | Mana Leech | 4% chance to gain 10 mana on attack |
| Boots | Swiftness | +2% attack speed | Reflect | +10% damage reflection |
| Gloves | Open Wounds | +3% chance of Open Wounds | Crushing Blows | +3% Crushing Blow |
Example: A weapon with Deadly Strike level 2 grants a 5% chance (2.5% × 2) to deal 1.5x damage on attack. Enchantment levels stack multiplicatively with the base bonus.
Enchanting Costs
Enchanting requires both Pixels and Crystals. Costs scale based on item quality, item level, Rarity, item type, and enchantment level.
What Affects Costs?
Enchanting costs increase with:
- Higher Item Rarity: Legendary and Artifact items cost more to enchant than Common items
- Higher Item Level: Level 50 items cost more than level 10 items
- Better Item Quality: Items with higher Quality percentage cost more
- Higher Enchantment Level: Upgrading to level 2 costs more than the initial level 1 enchant
- Item Type: Different equipment slots have different base costs
